The new cd is finished, and I am very excited about it. "Break Me Open" is the title and it has 12 songs. Some of the best players and singers in the world joined me on the project. Darrell Scott sang and played his butt off on most tunes. Tim O'Brien also came in and sang and played on a few, along with fiddler extraordinaire Stuart Duncan, Bill Miller, Andrea Zonn, Suzi Ragsdale, Kenny Malone, Byron House, John Mock, Sally Barris, my long time friend and partner Dan Sebranek and my favorite singer, my daughter, Elisi Smith-Waller.
