Summer 2009 Newsletter & CD Release
Hello Folks, long time no hear from. Believe me, it has not been because I have not been busy. I hope you’ve had a refreshing spring and have lots of fun plans for the summer.
Big news is, I’m proud to announce the release of my new CD “Gravity of Grace”.
Co-produced with my dear friend, groove guru, Tom Prasada-Rao in his Dallas TX Wildwood Tofu Bar studio. I loved working with Tom and highly encourage others to do the same. I gotta say I am really happy and excited about this CD. It felt so great and right going down.
Featured players: Tom who played incredible nylon, steel, high string, tenor, 12 string, and banjo guitars, uke, violin, and some harmonies. Jagoda - awesome percussion. Darrell Scott - guitar & vocals. Tim O’Brien - mandolin & vocals. Radoslav Lorkovic - keys. Ray Bonneville - blues harp. Dan Sebranek - guitar & vocals. Michael Lille - electric guitars. Elisi Smith-Waller - vocals. Jimmy LaFave – vocals. Jonathan Byrd –vocals. Cary Cooper - vocals, and Gordon MacLeod - whistles and fiddle. 13 songs - 10 originals and three fun covers.

More news, this Saturday May 30th I will be performing at the Kerrville TX Folk Festival and it will be aired LIVE on XM satellite radio station The Village channel 15. Around 7pm eastern. I will be joined on my set by Tom PR, Jagoda, and Rad Lorkovic. Should be a very fun set. Spread the word.
Last thing on the new CD - I will be doing a big CD release concert Sat June 27th out at Leo and Leona’s in Newburg Corners. 8pm with Dan Sebranek, Radoslav Lorkovic, and Elisi Smith-Waller. An old refurbished dance hall. W1436 State Road 33, call 608-452-3637. This will be a WAY fun evening.
Since I last wrote, I also led this year’s first group tour to Ireland. It was a huge success, 9 days and nights of breath-taking scenery by day and Irish music in the pubs each night. I have three more tours this summer. All were full but just found out I now have two slots open for my July 28-Aug 6th tour which goes to County Donegal. Gorgeous coastal scenery, stone circles, two quaint folk festivals, and more. Drop me an email if you are interested and want more info.
